  • When will I see results?
    Results are individual and may vary between people. The effect of microneeling is cumulative, and visible changes to the skin develop over time. For most people, the results will be most visible 1-3 months after the last treatment.
  • ​ Are treatments painful?
    TWIST offers the most comfortable micro-needling experience. Many clients find treatments involve minimal discomfort and are more tolerable than treatments with standard micro-needling devices.
  • What happens after treatment?
    Depending on treatment intensity you may experience redness and minor pin-point bleeding immediately after micro-needling treatment. Post-treatment redness may appear like a mild sunburn and lasts up for 3 days. Your therapist will recommend an aftercare plan and a post-treatment skin care product to assist in skin hydration and accelerating your results.
  • How many treatments are required?
    Clients are able to see results in as little as 13 days with collagen production formulating 6 weeks post-treatment. Depending on the treatment area and desired outcome, most clients will require 4-6 treatments to achieve their best results.
  • How long do results last?
    Twist treatments provide long-term benefits for your skin that could last for many months to come. Periodic touch-up treatments might be needed to maintain your results. Using appropriate skincare on a daily basis and avoiding sun exposure will also help to prolong the therapeutic effect.

  • Have undergone chemotherapy or radiation.

  • Bleeding issues. Hemophilia, blood clotting issues. 

  • There can be no skin cancers, solar keratosis, keloids, warts, or scars in the area.

  • Allergy to any of the things used for the treatment : nickel, stainless steel, hyaluronic acid and moisturiser.

  • Pregnant or nursing mothers.

  • Acne Vulgaris stage III - IV

  • Anticoagulants/ Blood thinners (including but limited to Warfarin, Heparin or Aspirin)

  • Long term use if Prednisone and other steroid medications (treatment will increase inflammation)
